Lumber Street Auto has been serving the greater Hopkinton area since 1992. Owned and operated by the Harper family, Lumber Street Auto takes great pride in offering comprehensive repair and maintenance services on a diversity of vehicle types and sizes while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. With nine service lifts, a state inspection bay and ample space for vehicle storage, Lumber Street Auto is Hopkinton's largest automotive service facility. Capacity to hoist vehicles weighing as much as 31,000 lbs and as long as forty-two feet provide the flexibility to offer services on vehicles ranging from cars to busses and recreational vehicles to work trucks and boats. Lumber Street Auto's roots trace back to W.W. Construction Company, where Phil Harper Sr. worked as fleet mechanic servicing trucks. Known for his quality work, people started asking Phil to service their cars. With W.W. Construction's blessing, he opened W.W. Auto Repair on Elm Street in Hopkinton. By 1996, the business had outgrown the Elm Street facility. A new structure was erected at 26 Lumber Street to meet the ever-growing demand. In addition to Phil Jr., Scott, and Jan Harper, Lumber Street employs six ASE certified technicians, two office personnel, and various support staff. All are committed to Lumber Street Auto's ultimate goal; complete customer satisfaction. |
